Each massage session is unique and specific to you. 


Below are the services offered at Timberline Massage: 



  • A "Tune-up" session focused on helping you feel freer, more mobile, less restricted, and in less pain. This massage also helps to prevent and manage repetitive use and sports injuries and is great for improving range of motion, flexibility, and performance. 

  • This massage session focuses mostly on particular areas of injury, pain, tension, restriction or dysfunction. 

  • Your massage therapist alternates deep pressure and compression with soothing Swedish strokes and utilizes a variety of techniques and modalities such as joint mobilization and active/passive stretching,, pin & stretch, Trigger Point Therapy, compression, cupping, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization aka scraping or guasha). 

  • Recommended anytime in your training  and activity cycle. 

  • Both Emily and Hallie offer this service.

  • A "Maintenance" session focused on balancing the body and addressing multiple areas of concern (time depending) and providing overall relaxation. 

  • Your massage therapist will utilize a variety of techniques and modalities throughout the session to help you achieve a more balanced body; techniques and modalities may include soothing Swedish, deep tissue, joint mobilization, pin and stretch, myofascial release, cupping, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization aka scraping), compression.

  • Recommended throughout your training cycle, but due to the utilization of deep tissue techniques (if needed) you may want to make sure you don't have any strenuous activities immediately after this massage. 

  • Both Emily and Hallie offer Customized Therapeutic services - please note, Emily will utilize Ashiatsu deep tissue work during this service if appropriate for what you're needing that day.

  • A "Restoration" session focused on providing the body with a good overall reset and deep relaxation. 

  • Your massage therapist uses her feet to provide deep gliding compression, pin and stretch, compression, active/ passive stretching. The broad surface of the foot allows the body to stay in a parasympathetic state (relaxed) rather than sympathetic state (stress response) while receiving deeper pressure.

  • If the foot isn't the best tool for a particular area, issue, or injury, then your massage therapist will utilize hands-on techniques, as needed. 

  • Recommended for recovery, maintenance, and deep relaxation..Do not plan to do any strenuous activities such as a competition or an epic weekend of adventuring 1-3 days after an Ashiastu session, but it's definitely recommended for recovery after such activities.

All massage sessions at Timberline Massage include additional time for a thorough intake and assessment before your massage begins and time for self-care recommendations and coaching after the massage session. Below are prices for each massage duration:


  • 30 minutes: $60

  • 45 minutes: $75

  • 60 minutes: $95

  • 75 minutes: $115

  • 90 minutes: $135


  • 30 minutes: $50

  • 45 minutes: $65

  • 60 minutes: $85

  • 75 minutes: $105

  • 90 minutes: $125

  • 120 minutes: $160

SERVICES ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: we do not offer same-day scheduling, or walk-ins. Online booking is permitted up to 60 days in advance for returning clients. Please contact us by text or email if you would like to be placed on our cancellation list. 


NEW CLIENT APPOINTMENTS: New client appointments are limited. Please call or email to set up an appointment as a new client.  These appointments are longer in duration to allow time for a thorough health history intake, assessment, and to talk about a treatment plan. There is also time added after your massage to go over self-care recommendations. Please plan for 30 + extra minutes to be added to your appointment duration. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please know that we require notification of cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. This will allow us time to fill your appointment spot. Failure to cancel 24 hours in advance will result in a fee of the entire cost of the session if we are unable to fill the appointment.

 Emily has been involved in athletics since she started skiing, and playing various sports at a young age. Throughout high school, she was active in soccer, track, cross country, basketball, skiing, snowboarding and olympic weightlifting. While in college, she was a competitive middle-distance runner for Boise State University and the University of Oregon. After earning her Bachelor's degree, Emily went on to earn her Master's degree, teach at the University of Oregon, and coach track and cross country at Lane Community College in Eugene, OR. 

Emily now provides customized massage treatments for her clients in Boise, Idaho. Her overall goal is to provide manual therapy that centers the body/mind connection, and helps clients maintain an active lifestyle and enjoy all that beautiful Boise, Idaho has to offer.

By utilizing her background in athletics, coaching, and education, Emily teaches clients about the musculoskeletal system and self-care techniques, helping them take their health into their own hands. 

When she's not massaging, Emily enjoys exploring Idaho's landscapes with her husband and dogs, as well as practicing yoga, snowboarding, riding her cyclocross bike, hiking, camping, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. She hopes to add mountain biking to that list in the near future.

Hallie was born in Meridian, Idaho, and grew up playing all kinds of sports including gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, and softball. In high school, due to recurring injuries she found a new love, weight lifting that has continued to this day. She also enjoys outside activities including hiking, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, and fishing. 


Hallie grew up in a family of massage therapists. Her mother has been a massage therapist for over 25 years! Her aunt and her sister are also massage therapists working in Utah and California. 


Hallie’s love and passion for massage therapy grew when she attended Idaho School of Massage Therapy and was able to find so many answers about her body. She now seeks to help people who are also looking for answers about their body.


Hallie performs deep tissue massage, cupping, IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization or scraping), along with customized massage treatments in order to reach the goals of her clients. She also performs neck release techniques to decrease tension and/or recurring migraines and headaches. With her new found passion in kinesiology she helps clients with their restricted range of motion to get them back to their healthier younger selves.
